The acupressure/reflexology mat is designed to cause gentle pressure on individual parts of the body. Acupressure comes from China, and its proponents believe that life-giving energy flows through the body, which if blocked somewhere indicates an organ malfunction. Unblocking is based on pressure (or puncture, as in the case of acupuncture) designated places, the meridians.
Most often it consists of a dozen or so rows of plastic discs with cone-shaped spikes, which are directed so that under the influence of body weight, they press on specific acupressure and nerve points.Can be use on spine , feet , hands, stomach.
